IIC - 243   VIBRATING MACHINE

Vibrating Machine/Mould Vibrator/Mortar Cube Vibrator

Concrete moulds are easily cast by using a tamping bar or a vibrating table. However air trapped in cement mortar paste can not be thus removed while casting cement mortar moulds. Easy method is to impart greater vibrating of lesser amplitude to the mould while casting.This is achieved in a vibrating machine. Vibrating machine is used for the preparing of mortar cubes for the determination of compression strength of ordinary and rapid hardened Portland cement, low heat Portland cement, Portland blast furnace cement and high alumina cements.




IIC - 244   VIBRATING TABLE
As Per IS : 4031 1968, IS : 1344 1959, BS 4550

The Vibrating Table is used for compacting concrete cubes and cylinders.

Technical Parameters:
It is designed to carry a load of 140 kg. The apparatus consists of a motor fitted with a variable pitch pulley housed in a cabinetJhe vibrations are imparted by means of off-balance masses rotating on a shaft of a vibrator clamped to the underside of thetable top. The table top is 50cm x 50cm. and has stops along its edges to prevent moulds from walking off the table duringvibration. A cross arm adjustable on a vertical rod at the centre of the table is provided to hold the moulds while operating thetable. The variable pitch pulley arrangement permits the frequency to be varied step-less between a maximum of 3600vibrations per minute. A speed regulation handle is provided for increasing or decreasing the frequency. A switch is providedfor starting the motor, suitable for operation on 440 volts, 3 phase, 50 cycles, AC supply. Vibrating Tables of table top size 75cm x 75cm as well as 100cm x 100cm are also available



IIC - 245   VICAT NEEDLE APPARATUS
As Per IS : 4031, 2645, 2542 (PART-I) 1727, 5513 & 712, BS : 12,146, 915,1370, 4027, 4246, 4248, AASHO-T 129, E 13 Vicat Needle Apparatus: This instrument is used for determining the normal consistency and setting times of cement and 'A' class limes.

Technical Parameters
The apparatus consists of a metallic frame bearing a freely movable and with a cap at top, one vicatm ould and glass base plate and one set of needles one each initial needle, final needle and consistency plunger.



IIC - 246   VICAT NEEDLE APPARATUS WITH DASHPOT
Same as above but in addition is fitted with a dashpot which facilities gentle lowering of the needles.

Accessories:
Mild steel base plate 5 inches x 5 inches. Fulcrum mould, brass, 70mm i.d. base dia x 60mm i.d. top dia, 40 mm height.




IIC - 247   COMPRESSION TESTING MACHINE (Four Pillar Nut Model) Hand cum Electrical Operated

Technical Parameters
The load frame is made up of high quality steel construction with a fixed. Upper lead carrying a ball seated platen. 4 pillars are fixed to the base and the top plate of the loading frame. The upper and lower plates are adjusted with the help of head screw on either side of the pillar. The ram dia of the machine varies from the requirements of the customer. The lower pattern are at the base of the frame above the ram and it is rectangular in shape. Sufficient clearance is providedbetween the platens to fit in the cylindrical/cube moulds. Spacer provided to adjust cubes and cylinders. A20 cm dia pressure gauge with maximum load induction pointer is fitted on the top panel and in turn is connected to the hydraulic pressure pipe. On the right hand a console is fitted within which the electrical motor is fitted alongwith its coupling which inturn is connected to the pumping unit. A slow / fast loading rate regulator fixed on the top of the console for adjusting thread of loading. The machine is duly calibrated and passed after inspecting and analyzing it with a compression level indicator is provided as a dip stick.

  1. Extra gauges can be attached to the machine (max. 3 nos.), for better accuracy and results.
  2. Electrical connection can either be Single Phase on 220 V A.C., or Three Phase 440 V A.C.

IIC - 248   COMPRESSION TESTING MACHINE 1000 kN (Channel Type Load Frame) (Hand Operated)
In these load frames "C" channels are used, they are welded at the top as well as bottom and with stand high loads. A hydraulic jack is fitted at centre of the base of the load frame, over which can be fitted lower platen and spacer block with the help of centring pin. A lead screw passes through the top of the frame. To the lower end of this lead screw is fixed the upper platen with spherical seat for self alignment. The platens are accurately machined, hardened and polished. The lower platen grooves to correctly place the specimen.

Note: The platens are normally rectangular on shape, but no special request square platens or circular platens can be supplied at an extra cost.
